I’m a big fan of the BYLT Split Hem Lux Tee. The material is the highlight for me... soft, premium, and drapes really well without feeling flimsy. The fabric blend has a nice weight to it, stretches comfortably, and feels elevated compared to standard tees. Style wise, it’s one of the better modern fits out there. The split hem gives it a clean, athletic look from the side, and I like that the rear is slightly longer. It adds shape without looking exaggerated.
My only qualm is the torso length. I’m 5’6”, and the front hem falls below the zipper on my pants, a little past where most shirts naturally land on me. The rear being slightly longer is expected with the split hem and doesn’t bother me, but if the overall length was shortened by just 1–2 inches, it would hit that ideal proportional spot in the front and feel perfect for my frame. Because of that, I’m actually considering getting it hemmed to my proportions so it sits exactly where I want it.
Even with that, the shirt still looks great and wears even better. The length issue is more of a proportional fit preference than a flaw. If you like premium fabric, a clean silhouette, and a modern athletic style, this tee delivers. If you’re on the shorter side or have a shorter torso like me, you might wish for a slightly shorter hem, or just do what I might do and tailor it to fit you perfectly.
